Magnate CARES was proud to partner with the Rotary International Club of Hillsborough again, organizing an Operation Shoebox USA event at a local YMCA. Volunteers put together over 500 holiday care packages for our troops deployed overseas.
Employees and their families came to show their support. In addition, local girl scout and boy scout troops helped fill the boxes. It was amazing to see the community come together for a good cause.
100 boxes made there way to USS NIMITZ Aircraft carrier in the Western Pacific ocean. One of the sailors, Jared Burchette is a local and his father sent us the picture.
