The Organization for Autism Research was founded to apply science to answer the daily questions and challenges that autism presents to individuals with autism, their families, teachers, and caregivers. OAR focuses on applied research and the practical value of its resource materials.
OAR’s Navigator Program helps align people in business management to help autistic adults refine their resumes and prepare for job interviews. This program provides online resources to help job seekers find meaningful employment. After completing her online training with OAR, Karen Roberts was matched with her first job seeker through OAR’s Navigator program. She will help this young man with his resume and cover letter for 4-6 weeks until his documents are completed.
